Dan Seitz

Daniel Seitz has been involved for more than 30 years with the field of complementary, alternative and integrative medicine education, accreditation and regulation. He currently serves as the executive director of the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education—the accrediting agency for doctoral programs in naturopathic medicine—and works with emerging healthcare fields. He is also a member of the National Organics Standards Board, which sets the standards for organic food in the U.S. Previously, Dr. Seitz served as founding dean for traditional Chinese medicine master’s degree programs at NY Chiropractic College and president of the New England School of Acupuncture, as well as chief of the Acupuncture Unit for the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine where he set up the state’s acupuncture licensing board. Dr. Seitz has a BA and MAT degree from the University of Chicago, a JD degree from Boston University Law School, and an EdD in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from the University of Massachusetts – Boston.
