BerkChique!, the Berkshires’ ultimate annual pop-up fashion re-sale fundraiser opened Friday night at Ventfort Hall. Your chance to find a fashion bargain continues through Sunday.
Berkshire fashion maven Vicki Bonnington has spent months assembling racks of clothing items—everything from blue jeans to ball gowns plus shoes, scarves, sweaters, purses, jewelry, and hats—some new and some gently worn, all for sale at extremely attractive prices. Many items come from Bonnington’s own collection; others are the result of her gently persuading the Berkshires’ most fashionable women to open up their closets and donate what they’re not wearing. With the help of the Ventfort Hall staff, thousands of items have been catalogued, priced and attractively arranged by category and color throughout the mansion. The collection is stunning. Many high-profile designers are well represented.
After Friday night’s “First Dibs” ticketed party, BerkChique! continues —admission is free— Saturday, June 6, 10 am-4 pm and Sunday, June 7, 10 am-2 pm at Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum, 104 Walker Street, Lenox. Parking is available on the premises.
All proceeds from BerkChique! go to local non-profits including Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum, WAM Theatre, Berkshire Humane Society, Community Access to the Arts (CATA), Berkshire Art Center, Berkshire Immigrant Center, and Elizabeth Freeman Center. So, you can shop guilt-free!
