First measurable snow

Forecasters say another storm may come in a day or two.

Great Barrington — It was the first measurable snow of the season on November 26.

The day started out as light rain and that lasted until about 2pm, then changed to snow, light at first. more moderate snow fell between 5p.m. and 10p.m. Then gradually it began to taper off and ended about 3a.m. on November 27. Total snow accumulation was 5.6 inches, water content was .37 inches. Then add .17 inches of rain before the change over.
And forecasters say another storm may come in a day or two.
