“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
This “play for voices,” populated by some of the best-loved characters in literature, is thought to juxtapose the wonder of Thomas’ childhood with the stark realities of World War II.
The 26 cast members of The Sandisfield Players will travel from the rural enclave of Sandisfield, Massachusetts to the famed Minack Theatre, a 750 seat open-air amphitheater that juts into the Atlantic Ocean.
