“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
Prizes will be awarded to the male and female winners and runners-up of the 10K and 5K races, as well as to the top two “Best Dressed Native Species” racers.
The Down County Social Club’s November line-up features sounds, artists, and experiences new to the venue. The New York-based Steamboats -- banjo pickers, singers, songwriters -- on Friday, November 6.
