Great Mountain Forest to host Nature Writing Retreat at Historic Yale Camp in Falls Village, Conn., Aug. 7 to 9

“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.

The B’Shalom Chorale, the Berkshires’ only chorale showcasing Jewish music, will culminate its fifth season with concerts in Pittsfield and Great Barrington Tuesday and Wednesday.

Volunteers in Medicine Berkshires (VIM) will hold its gala event, “Knock Three Times and Whisper,” on Thursday, August 11, at 6:30 p.m. at Ski Butternut. The event will feature a Roaring 20s speakeasy theme, live music by the Wanda Houston Band.
