“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.

“The strings of the heart” is artistic director Allyn Burrows’ concept theme for the summer and he has chosen a quartet of very contemporary plays to flesh out the idea.

Pythagoras Theatre Works will present two plays adapted from short stories by Edith Wharton and adapted by playwright and Shakespeare & Company founding member Dennis Krausnick, including cast members Corinna May, Diane Prusha, and David Joseph.
