“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
A primary search revealed the presence of one individual who was dead. A secondary search revealed four additional individuals who were dead. Neither the names of the victims nor the causes of death were available for release on Wednesday, District Attorney Harrington said.

The Red Cross has temporarily placed the family at the Day’s Inn on Main Street, and Multicultural BRIDGE is helping the family with meals, transportation and services, explained Fire Chief Charles Burger.
