Great Mountain Forest to host Nature Writing Retreat at Historic Yale Camp in Falls Village, Conn., Aug. 7 to 9

“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.

Jack Spencer was chair of the Monument Social Studies department from its inception in 1967. The department created the first Holocaust curriculum for high school students in the country.
