“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
The annual Live Out Loud conference at BCC draws upwards of 100 participants who learn about and discuss issues of vital interest to the local and national LGBTQIA+ communities.

Jacob Robbins, a junior at Monument Mountain Regional High School, pleads for voters to approve the school's renovation: "I am imploring everyone to please vote yes on the renovation project. If we are to continue to foster an incredible learning space for the kids of today and the kids of tomorrow we must adapt: The building cannot sustain itself for much longer."
