“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
In his talk, John Demos will discuss the history of witchcraft and witch-hunting from the Middle Ages to the present day and his long engagement with the topic.
The Berkshire Playwrights Lab (BPL) will present its next play in its free Staged Reading Series -- "Match" by Jennifer Maisel -- on Wednesday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center.
