“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
Joyce worked for the Boston Insurance Group in Albany; for the Montgomery Ward catalog store in Great Barrington from 1965 until the store closed in 1975; then as a teller for the Great Barrington Savings Bank, retiring in 1995 after 20 years.
Margaret, second oldest native resident of South Egremont, was a member of the Council on Aging and Egremont Historical Committee. Margaret gave her entire family the best childhood experience anyone could ever hope for.
