“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
The Outspoken poetry festival includes workshops, peer-led open mics and competitive poetry slams for youth ages 15–24, and the finale is a celebration that includes performances by the top finishers of the poetry slams and a feature set by poet Mariah Barber.
