“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
Julie worked as executive assistant to the medical director at Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge for 32 years and was well-known in the Stockbridge area.
Dot was the co-founder and director of the Women in Transition Program and a professor at Cape Cod Community College. Earlier in her career, she was executive director for both Action for Opportunity and the Urban Coalition in Pittsfield, where she also served as president of the League of Women Voters.
