“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
'Heirloom by Design' will feature Berkshire artisans and be complemented by a lineup of local food vendors, acoustic musicians and poets, kid-friendly activities, and a full day of delicious workshops in the Greylock WORKS kitchen.
Looking at this ambitious season it is clear that rather than expanding they are doing just a differently formatted season filled with the potential of excellent and fascinating presentations.
A story slam is a friendly competition in which storytellers share five-minute stories relevant to the event’s theme. Stories are scored by volunteer judges from the audience.
