“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
Sen. Adam Hinds, who was among those who signed the letter, said he is 'deeply disappointed that the Berkshires were not given a high enough priority to have a member on the commission.'
Hinds and Rosenberg will co-host a community forum from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the large meeting room of the Berkshire Athenaeum, which will be open to the public.
The announcement said the easement for Tennessee Gas’ Connecticut Expansion Project will include environmental mitigation, recreational improvements and securing additional conservation land.
