“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
The Community Development Corporation of South Berkshire has announced that Salisbury Bank has made it a $5,000 grant, which will support the organization by growing its general fund.
The restaurant had to be gutted and the Lewises struggled with insurance adjustors in the meantime, trying to find a way to reopen. “The fire was a life changer. If the insurance process was easier and quicker, the outcome would have been better.”
