“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
The withdrawal ensures that the world’s second largest emitter of greenhouse gases will quit the international effort to address dangerous global warming.
The program enables girls from low-income families to attend high school. Customarily, boys’ education is prioritized, and girls from large families are often denied the opportunity to attend high school.
