“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Manhattan sold its 1905 gothic edifice in 1970, and consecrated a new church designed and built in 1977 in the international style.
Most of his professional life was at Allied Stores Corp. in New York City, where he became vice president for planning and research and a nationally known authority on retail store location.
