“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
Calvin Alexander Ramsey's play, and his later children's story “Ruth and the Green Book,” both draw inspiration from the same story that inspired the Academy Award-nominated film “Green Book.”
The main stage at the Gather-In will feature folksingers Kim and Reggie Harris, a performance of Jacob’s Pillow’s Pittsfield Moves! community engagement initiative, the Soul Steps dance troupe from New Jersey, Youth Alive and Funk Box Studio dancers, and more.
