“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
At home and on his morning off on September 11th 2001 he reported to his precinct in East Harlem and then onto the World Trade Center. From September 11th, 2001 until January of 2002 he worked at the World Trade Center site.
