“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
Part of the national Not in Our Town movement, the campaign will engage Berkshire residents, businesses, town governments, schools, community organizations and others in an effort to educate, organize and mobilize communities to respond to and prevent incidents of hate and injustice.
The Sheffield Democratic Committee is supporting measures that will come before the Legislature this coming week to protect immigrants and LGBTQ rights.
