“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
The nine-day festival will present 50 world-class independent and international films, plus post-screening question-and-answer sessions with acclaimed artists and special tributes and events.
Film Columbia 2017 will showcase more than 40 national, international, animated, documentary and award-winning films in Chatham, New York, beginning Sunday, Oct. 22.
FilmColumbia 2016 will get underway with a special James Ivory tribute and kick-off celebration on Saturday, Oct. 22, benefiting FilmColumbia and the nonprofit Chatham Film Club.
