“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
Ed loved Great Barrington and was very active in the civic life of the community. In 1982 he was elected to the board of selectmen and remained a selectman until 2002.
Phyllis worked as a stenographer at General Electric for several years before eventually settling in Lenox and working at Doherty & Stuart PC accounting firm as an office manager prior to her retirement in 1997.
