“The retreat brings people together, builds community in the forest, gets participants outside and off their screens, and uses nature sustainably to heal and inspire minds and souls,” stated Great Mountain Forest Executive Director Michael Zafros. Retreat registration closes on July 30.
Prizes will be awarded to the male and female winners and runners-up of the 10K and 5K races, as well as to the top two “Best Dressed Native Species” racers.
You may enjoy eating in the café, or get your goodies to go. I usually do both. Something to sit down and enjoy, and something to take home for dinner and a sweet snack later.
