“Trysting Rock” overlooks the town of Lee, high atop Ferncliff. The view to the west is dramatic. The scenic, but secluded boulder was apparently a popular site for secretive trysts and romantic rendezvous back in 1892, when the photograph above was taken.
The same scene is recreated 129 years later by actor/singer Katelyn Leveille and computer specialist Matt Carson. But “be still your heart” – they are not a couple, only cousins who volunteered for the reenactment.
