Clellie Lynch
Clellie McKeever Lynch has been a birder and amateur naturalist since she was a child on the South Fork of Long Island. In addition to keeping a close eye on birds, other animals and plant life in northern Columbia County, N.Y., and the Berkshires, she and her husband, Dan, have birded all over the world. Her column on her birding activities appears in the Berkshire Eagle, every second Thursday. She first met David St James more than twenty years ago on the Berkshire County Christmas Count.

Dan Dwyer
Dan Dwyer is an independent theatre reviewer and radio interview host. His radio show, "Off Script," is broadcast on NPR affiliate WHDD Robin Hood Radio. Podcasts of his interviews, along with his reviews, are posted on www.offscriptdandwyer.com. Dan’s reviews of Broadway musicals appear translated in "Blickpunkt Musical," the German magazine of international musical theater. Dan completed a workshop in directing at Yale University in the summer of 2015, and has directed rehearsed readings at the Berkshire Theatre Group. Dan is proprietor of Johnnycake Books, specializing in rare and collectible books, in Salisbury, Connecticut.
Dan Seitz
Daniel Seitz has been involved for more than 30 years with the field of complementary, alternative and integrative medicine education, accreditation and regulation. He currently serves as the executive director of the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education—the accrediting agency for doctoral programs in naturopathic medicine—and works with emerging healthcare fields. He is also a member of the National Organics Standards Board, which sets the standards for organic food in the U.S. Previously, Dr. Seitz served as founding dean for traditional Chinese medicine master’s degree programs at NY Chiropractic College and president of the New England School of Acupuncture, as well as chief of the Acupuncture Unit for the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine where he set up the state’s acupuncture licensing board. Dr. Seitz has a BA and MAT degree from the University of Chicago, a JD degree from Boston University Law School, and an EdD in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from the University of Massachusetts – Boston.
Dana Bixby
Dana Bixby AIA. Dana’s practice is based in the Berkshires and informed by work in New York City and London. Dana holds a graduate degree in architecture from the University of London, where she studied Space Syntax theory with Bill Hillier. Her practice has designed and built many varied projects including passive solar homes, brownstone and loft renovations, sound recording studios, historic restorations, nursing homes, senior retirement housing, theater renovations, and a variety of residences in the Berkshires.

Daniel Tawczynski
Dan Tawczynski was born right here in Great Barrington and today lives in the family home where he grew up. He has been a farmer all his life, retired now from Taft Farms which he ran with his wife (Martha) and family for almost sixty years (now run by his son, Paul). He has a B.A. from Boston College and taught school in Pittsfield for several years. He has been writing (mostly short stories about farm life) for at least forty years without ever attempting to publish. Dan Klein and others persuaded him to try and the first result was “Green”, a collection first published in 2020. He hopes another collection will come out later this year along with his first attempt at a larger work of fiction.

Dianne Salamon has resided in Mount Washington and Manhattan for many years but most recently spends much of her time in the Berkshires. Dianne is involved in numerous volunteer activities. It started when she got involved with Volunteers in Medicine Berkshires (VIM), 10 years ago, fulfilling many roles in the planning and execution of the Annual Galas. More recently she was worked with The Council on Aging (COA) of Egremont and Mount Washington, creating events for area seniors. Unfortunately I’m one of the Snyders who don’t make pretzels. My Dad, Alexander’s claim to fame was seeing Carl Erskine pitch a no hitter for the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field which is why he named me Dook, and in the process caused me major grief. A car mechanic, he thought he was funnier than he really was and would drag me to comedy clubs and to the Catskills. My Mom, Gail, taught second grade and treated my Dad like the second grader he often was. I work for an agency that wouldn’t be happy if I told you which one it was but know that I have come to love the Berkshires and have a second home here.

Ed Abrahams and Pedro Pachano
Ed Abrahams is a fundraising and management consultant working in New York City for 20 years before moving to Great Barrington 20 years ago. He is vice-chair of the Great Barrington Selectboard, president of the Friends of the GB Libraries, co-chair of the Downtown Great Barrington Cultural District, a cemetery commissioner, a member of the school council of Muddy Brook Regional Elementary School and Monument Valley Regional Middle School, a member of the Great Barrington Economic Development Committee and a former member of the Board of Library Trustees where he served as chair for three years. Ed has served and continues to serve on the boards and advisory boards of many nonprofit organizations. Pedro Pachano attended Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation where he received a Masters in Architecture. He has subsequently worked for New York based Acconci Studio, Eisenman Architects, Diller, Scofidio and Renfro and FXFowle Architects (now FX Collaborative). In 2007 he founded Pachano & Vollert Architects with partner Amparo Vollert with whom he has designed and completed architectural projects in New York, Miami, San Francisco and Bogotá, Colombia. Pachano & Vollert Architecture continues to develop ideas about architecture and urbanism while engaging in innovative energy efficiency and reduction strategies which encompass century old passive traditions to new cutting edge technologies. Since 2016 Pedro has served on both Great Barrington’s Design Advisory Committee and Planning Board. Pedro has taught Architecture at Columbia University, The Cooper Union, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rensselaer Institute of Technology; is a licensed architect in New York, Massachusetts, Florida; and is NCARB Certified.
Ed Lane
Ed Lane, ASA, CFP®, is a former actuary and university adjunct professor of finance and economics. Ed is Treasurer for The Stockbridge Library / Museum & Archives and on the Stockbridge Finance Committee. He and his wife Barbara first came to the Berkshires in 1969 and have had homes here off and on over the years.
